ELEC 324 Discrete-Time Signals and Systems W | 4 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0.5 Tutorial: 0.5 This is a second course on the basic concepts and applications of signals and systems analysis. Discrete time signals and systems are emphasized. Topics include: sampling and reconstruction; discrete-time signals and systems; difference equations; Z-transform and solutions to difference equations; discrete Fourier series and discrete time Fourier transform; filtering concepts; applications to pulse amplitude modulation, delta modulation, and speech coding.
